Our Mission
Run On Climate Education Fund’s mission is to strengthen the climate movement by empowering local changemakers with the skills and resources they need to move their community off of fossil fuels as quickly as possible.
Our Focus
Our focus lies in providing local climate leaders and community members support with program research and resources, strategy consulting, communications, and community organizing. We prioritize local organizing that center the voices of those most affected by the current and future impacts of the climate crisis.
Our Impact
ROCEF has assisted in the development and implementation of numerous climate programs in cities across the U.S., including solar requirements for new buildings, bans on natural gas in new buildings, decarbonization requirements for existing buildings, electric public transportation, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure expansion, electric bike subsidies, and more.
We've trained over 100 grassroots organizers and hosted over 50 interns, providing valuable skills and opportunities for career growth to the next generation of climate leaders.
